Beth Thibodaux, MA
Beth Thibodaux has served as Manager of State & Local Government Relations for Darden Restaurants since November 2009. Beth is responsible for Darden’s efforts to building relationships with key state and local office holders, administrative agencies and regulators in Florida and the southeast. Additionally, she represents Darden before state legislative organizations and serves as Darden’s primary contact with state and local associations and allies.
Prior to joining Darden, Beth served for eight years as the Assistant Director of Government Relations for Florida Hospital where she led the advocacy and public policy efforts for the Adventist Health Systems 17 Florida based hospitals.
Beth earned her BA in Public Relations from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana and a Masters in Communications from the University of Central Florida. She is a graduate of Leadership Florida Class XXVIII and Leadership Orlando. She serves on the Executive Committees for BusinessForce, the Tiger Bay Club and is the immediate past Chair of Orange County’s Healthy Start Coalition and past- Chair of the Citizens’ Commission on Children. Before entering the world of Florida politics, Beth held PR/Communications roles at Walt Disney World and the Orlando Ballet.
