Florida Chamber of Commerce to Host International Days

TALLAHASSEE (February 6, 2012) - The U.S. Department of Commerce Under Secretary for International Trade, along with the Canadian and Colombian Ambassadors to the United States will be among the featured speakers during the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s annual International Days on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 7-8 in Tallahassee.

International Days provides Florida’s international business community the opportunity to hear from top international trade experts and promote the significant role international business has in Florida’s economy. Chief among the discussions will be the importance of manufacturing exports and the industry’s significant role in the Florida Chamber’s goal to secure Florida’s future and double Florida-origin exports in five years. Leading experts will discuss:

  • The future of the Panama Canal,
  • The 2012 World Economic Outlook
  • Trade issues and regulations impacting Florida’s international business economy, and more.
