Economic Impact of Florida’s Panhandle Hospitals

The economic impact of Florida’s Panhandle hospitals was examined in a recent article by 850 Magazine. The article contained highlights from a recent University of Florida study which stated that:

  • Over 60,000 people are employed by Florida Panhandle hospitals, and
  • These hospitals boast nearly $7.5 billion in economic output in the 18 counties.
