The so-called “Hometown Democracy” amendment – now known as Amendment 4 - will imperil Florida’s unique quality-of-life and threaten Florida’s prospects for economic recovery. With the “Vote on Everything” amendment, citizens—not the representatives they elected—would be forced to regularly decide hundreds of technical land-use planning issues at the ballot box. (more)
