During recent years, Florida experienced tremendous growth – as many as 1,100 new residents every day – and even with the recent economic decline, Florida is expected to continue to grow significantly – by another 5 million residents by 2030.

As a result of our growth, traffic congestion has occurred on many of our roadways. This congestion is a growing concern for Florida’s business community. As our state continues to grow, even at a slightly slower pace, congestion will only get worse, unless we plan ahead. (more)
