Framing Florida's Insurance Crisis
 
 

We escaped the 2009 hurricane season, but Florida is still one storm away from severe financial risk. In a state with $2 trillion in property exposure, we need a plan to relieve the taxpayers of the State of Florida of the potential burden of hidden taxation. In January 2010, the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Council of 100 partnered to release "Into the Storm: Framing Florida’s Looming Property Insurance Crisis."
